Sunday January 21st: TENNACITY Doubles Tennis Tournament (no gender restrictions on teams)

Entry Deadline: January 14th 5PM .

Sign Ups: All players must sign-up with a partner. For the entry to be valid, both players must register and pay individually and list the other partner’s name in the "notes" section of playbypoint when checking out. If the draw for the division you would like to play in is full, there will be a waitlist option on play-by-point, and we will notify you if a space opens up.

Match Times:

General time frame, 8am start to 6pm. (may extend past 6pm).

Official times will be published on January 18th (1/18). Players who sign up should remain flexible to play anytime on the tournament day.

Location: Plummer Park Tennis Courts.

Awards: Medals will be awarded! (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) for the top 3 finishers.

Age Limit: 18+ for all categories.

Tournament Ball: Dunlop

Tournament Format: 16 Team Draw, Full Feed-In Consolation (semifinalist will feed in).

Main Draw: 8 game pro set (no-ad scoring). 7 point tie breaker at 8-8.

Feed-In Consolation matches: 6 game set (no-ad scoring). 7 point tiebreaker at 6-6.

Semifinal match: 8 game pro set (no-ad scoring). 7 point tie breaker at 8-8.

3rd and 4th playoff (consolation final): 8 game pro set (no-ad scoring). 7 point tie breaker at 8-8.

Final match: 2 out of 3 sets match tie breaker (10 point) in leu of a third set.

Officials:  Tournament director will be a roving official onsite and available to handle questions.  

Entry fee: $50 ($45 for registered WeHo residents).

Cancellation Policy: The cancellation deadline for a refund is January 14th by 5pm. Without exceptions.

If the tournament is cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, credit may be issued for future tournaments or rescheduled through Tennacity.
